Miranda from Clark Fork Yacht Club reached out looking for help creating a website with tour booking capabilities. She explained the business and goals I immediately said yes! In the discovery process she mentioned she was looking for a 80’s/90’s yacht club vibe amped up with loud garish colors colors and imagery. I dove right into creating a font and color system that would address those needs.

A big part of their tube rental business is their kick-ass cushy bright pink tubes that float on down the river. It immediately made me think of those ridiculous flamingo pool floaties I used as a child of the early 90’s and alas the flamingo graphics were born.

Creating the voice for CFYC was my favorite part of this project. Sometimes writing copy for websites can be somewhat of a *yawn*…but working with these gals I knew we needed to portray a business that is fresh, fun and friendly.
